West Bromwich Albion are said to be keen to bring Wes Hoolahan to the Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion signing Wes Hoolahan may not be a wise move, given his age.
Hoolahan is now 36, and he showed signs that his age watch catching up with him towards the end of his time at Norwich City.
There is no doubting that on his day Hoolahan can be a valuable asset at Championship level, but he appears to have no long-term future at West Brom.
Darren Moore’s side are aiming for promotion, and surely wouldn’t be keeping Hoolahan around for next season at the age of 37, if they did achieve their aim and go up.

Of course, West Brom may argue that bringing Hoolahan in on a free transfer offers little risk, as they are trying to according to the Eastern Daily Press.
But he would be taking a squad place away from a younger player, and the Baggies may be better off investing in somebody who can improve in January.
West Brom have been linked with the likes of Bradley Dack and Romaine Sawyers, and either of those two play makers would make a more exciting addition for future years, than Hoolahan, who would surely only be a short-term fix.
