Celtic midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu was at West Bromwich Albion from 2009 until 2015.

Ahead of this weekend’s Championship match against Reading at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich Albion have posted a message about Celtic midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu on social networking site Twitter.

West Brom have posted a video of the 31-year-old DR Congo international midfielder scoring a wonderful goal against Reading.

Some fans of the Baggies have responded to the message from the Championship club on Mulumbu.

Mulumbu joined West Brom in 2009 and was on the books of the Baggies until 2015.

During his time at The Hawthorns, the DR Congo international established himself as an important player in the Baggies’ midfield.

The 31-year-old moved to Celtic in the summer transfer window on a free after leaving Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock at the end of last season.

Meanwhile, West Brom find themselves fourth in the Championship table at the moment with 21 points from 11 matches, just a points behind leaders Leeds United.
