The West Bromwich Albion academy product made his full debut against Luton Town on Tuesday.

Rekeem Harper was one of several academy players on show as West Bromwich Albion took on Luton Town on Tuesday.
The midfielder – whose only prior Baggies appearance saw him play 20 minutes against Bournemouth last season – made his first start for Darren Moore’s side in a game in which Sam Field, Kyle Edwards and Jonathan Leko also featured.
And Harper’s performance as West Brom narrowly overcame the League One side by a goal to nil won plenty of plaudits on social media.
This is what Baggies fans are saying about him on Twitter…
Harper’s position is one in which West Brom have found themselves a man light since the end of last season, with Claudio Yacob having left the Hawthorns at the end of his contract.
And if the 18-year-old’s full debut is anything to go by, it would not be the end of the world if the Baggies fail to sign a replacement for Yacob.
Local lad Harper spent part of last season on loan to Blackburn Rovers, for whom he played nine times.
Can Harper solve West Brom’s midfielder shortage?
