Harper featured for West Brom in their Championship game against Reading away from home at the Madejski Stadium on Monday.
The 19-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
The England Under-19 international tried his best, ran a lot, worked hard, but the talented and promising teenager failed to make it count and did not really have a huge impact on the match.
According to WhoScored, the midfielder took two shots which were not on target, had a pass accuracy of 92.3%, took 39 touches, and made two tackles.
The youngster has made 11 starts and three substitute appearances in the Championship for the Baggies so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
West Brom fans were not impressed with the display produced by Harper and have criticised him on Twitter.
