West Bromwich Albion fans didn’t have much to celebrate on Saturday, but fans were loving Kieran Gibbs and Grzegorz Krychowiak.

It has been a solid if unspectacular start to the Premier League season for West Bromwich Albion.
Tony Pulis’s side sit 11th in the table after picking up nine points from a possible 21 – a decent return by all accounts – but if their summer signings continue in the same vein then the Baggies will only get better and better this season.
West Brom suffered a disappointing 2-2 draw with Watford on Saturday, with Pulis’s men throwing away a two-goal lead as a last-minute equaliser from Richarlison denied the hosts what would’ve been a handy three points.

But there were two major positives in the form of two summer signings: Kieran Gibbs and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Left-back Gibbs, a £5 million signing from Arsenal, was superb in both defence and attack, while midfielder Krychowiak, who joined on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain, was exceptional in the middle of the park, posting a performance which showed why the French giants signed him in the first place.

Although West Brom fans weren’t happy with the result, many drew some consolation in how two of their summer additions looked.
