West Bromwich Albion have signed Dwight Gayle on loan for the season from Newcastle United.

West Bromwich Albion supporters are excited about Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle’s comments over his future.
He said: “Of course it’s crossed my mind.
“It’s something that will be on the cards but I suppose I’ve just got to get this season out of the way and let others get on with what they’ve got to do and we’ll see how things go.
“I’m very happy playing my football here and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. Anything could happen at the end of the season, we’ve just got to wait and see.”
West Brom fans now want Gayle to be made their top target at the end of this loan spell, as they are eager for him to stick around.
Gayle has been one of the stars of West Brom’s season so far, as he has scored with great frequency.
The Newcastle loanee has netted eight goals in 13 games, and helped Albion establish themselves as the top scorers in the Championship.
Gayle’s strike-partnership with Jay Rodriguez at West Brom has earned great praise, and looks to be among the very best in the second tier.
Gayle scored for the Baggies in their last match, as they destroyed Leeds United before the international break.
Newcastle are likely to be open to selling Gayle if West Brom do make a bid, as Rafael Benitez seemingly has doubts over using him regularly at Premier League level.
