Chris Brunt has landed a new deal at West Brom.

West Bromwich Albion announced yesterday that they have handed a new contract to long serving midfielder Chris Brunt.

The Baggies’ official website confirmed Brunt has penned a deal which will take him up until 2018, with an option for another year if he reaches a set number of appearances.

Brunt, 32, has bounced back this campaign after an ill timed injury caused him to miss the end of last season and Euro 2016.

Brunt has played in a variety of positions this season, featuring at left-back and at right wing, with his versatility a key asset for the Baggies.

He has scored three goals and provided three assists, netting two of his goals in his last five games in victories over Sunderland and Hull.
