West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs.
However, the Baggies are unwilling to meet Arsenal’s £10 million valuation of the player.
Left back is one area where West Brom will be looking to strengthen. Tony Pulis is looking for a natural left-footed player for that role, and have reportedly approached the Gunners for Gibbs.
The 27-year-old has come up through the ranks of Arsenal, and has almost 250 appearances for the Gunners to his name.
Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs misses a chance to score
The England international managed only 18 starts in all competitions last season, with Arsene Wenger using Nacho Monreal as the club’s first choice left-back.
With Sead Kolasinac arriving on a free transfer from Schalke earlier this summer, Gibbs has become surplus to the requirements at the club.
Arsene Wenger is planning a significant exodus of players from the squad this summer, and the Frenchman is willing to let Gibbs leave at the right price.
