West Bromwich Albion fans have suggested that the club should take the £4 million on offer for James McClean.

The Daily Mirror report that Stoke City want to sign McClean from West Brom this summer, but are short of their asking price at the moment.

The Baggies want £6 million, if they are to sell the Republic of Ireland international.

However, Albion supporters feel that they are asking for too much, and they should just take whatever money is offered for him.

McClean had a disappointed season over the past campaign, with West Brom slipping to relegation.

The passionate wide-man simply did not provide enough goals or assists to justify a regular place in their starting line-up.

West Brom are now expected to make changes, as they plot an immediate return to the Premier League.

Many of Albion’s longer serving players have expressed a desire to stay at the Hawthorns, but McClean’s future is less certain.
