West Bromwich Albion drew 1-1 with Leicester City in the Premier League Asia Trophy.
West Bromwich Albion fans have reacted positively to Ahmed Hegazi’s performance for them in the Premier League Asia Trophy against Leicester City.
Hegazi has been brought to West Brom on loan from Al Ahly, and very little is known about the 26-year-old in English football.
The powerful centre-back was drafted straight into West Brom’s team by Tony Pulis though.
And Baggies fans have praised the display of the centre-back against Leicester.
Hegazi only played during the first hour of the contest, with Pulis keen to test out some of his other options too.
West Brom managed to pick up a 1-1 draw, but were beaten on penalties.

Jay Rodriguez scored West Brom’s goal in the contest, before Riyad Mahrez replied.
The Baggies will now go on to face the losing side from Liverpool’s contest with Crystal Palace later today.
Whether Hegazi will remain part of West Brom’s first team plans when the competitive action starts up remains to be seen.
