Livermore’s inclusion was at the expense of Jonjo Shelvey, which has caused great frustration at Newcastle United.
Shelvey has been in good form this season, and is a major reason why Newcastle look likely to avoid the drop.
Newcastle are well placed in the Premier League table, which is more than can be said for the Baggies.
West Brom are rooted to bottom spot, and look as if they are staring relegation in the face.
Livermore has been a regular for West Brom this season, but even at club level there have been regular calls for him to be dropped.
