West Bromwich Albion enter race for £6m rated Guingamp winger Yannis Salibur

Alan Pardew is on the hunt for attacking inspiration to get West Bromwich Albion out of trouble.

West Bromwich Albion are one of a number of clubs who are looking at Guingamp attacking midfielder Yannis Salibur, according to French publication L’Equipe.

L’Equipe understands that the 26-year-old could finally leave Stade de Roudourou this winter after previously coming close to joining Saint-Etienne and Hull City.

As BBC Sport reports, Hull agreed a £9m fee for Salibur last January, but did not submit the paperwork before the deadline and the transfer did not go through.

Now L’Equipe claims that the Frenchman is available for between £5.3m-£7m and that Fiorentina, Sevilla and Saint-Etienne could all rival West Brom for his signature.

Baggies manager Alan Pardew needs attacking inspiration to lift his side off the bottom of the Premier League table. Albion are the second lowest scorers in the division with 14 goals from 20 games.

Salibur has two goals in 13 matches for Guingamp this season, a modest record which suggests that Pardew will need even more reinforcements to supplement Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez.
