West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans has reportedly attracted the attentions of David Moyes at West Ham United.

Evans has been linked with Everton, Arsenal and Manchester City in recent times in the Mirror, and all of those clubs look far more appealing than West Ham.
The Hammers are in a relegation battle, and if Evans was to join up with David Moyes’ side he could well be playing Championship football next season.

The Northern Ireland international has the option to go and join two title contenders, and an Everton side who have lofty aims for the future.
If Evans was to move to West Ham, he would simply be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire.
West Brom are looking nervously over their shoulders in the Premier League, but West Ham are lodged firmly in the relegation zone.

To join the Hammers simply would not make sense, even if Evans would earn an increase in his salary.
And although Moyes wants to bring in the centre-back, Evans is better off waiting and picking another option, with interest rising in his services.
