West Bromwich Albion has been tipped as a potential destination for Leicester City right-back Danny Simpson.

Stoke City’s move for Cuco Martina may be good news for West Bromwich Albion, as it could give them a free run at Leicester City defender Danny Simpson.

The Daily Mail have suggested West Brom as a potential destination for the right-back, who is set to be made available by Leicester City.

Darren Moore’s side could be on the look out for a new right-sided defender, as their options there are currently short.

West Brom were thought to have to compete with Stoke City for Simpson, with Gary Rowett’s side also interested.

However, Stoke look set to sign Everton defender Martina on loan for the rest of the season.

Sky Sports have suggested that Martina is on the verge of a move to Stoke, which would surely mean that they would end their interest in Simpson.

And that could give West Brom a free run at the Premier League right-back, if they want to bring him to the Hawthorns.
