Carlos Corberan is set for West Bromwich Albion as the Spaniard prepares to make a return to Championship management imminently.
The Baggies chose to sack manager Steve Bruce earlier this month after a dismal start to the season.
One win in 13 games to start the season was never going to appease a club with the expectation of West Brom.
Bruce was given his marching orders on October 10th but almost two weeks on, the Baggies have yet to announce replacement.

Carlos Corberan is set for West Bromwich Albion
A number of names have been linked with the job since Bruce’s departure but West Brom now appear to have made their decision.
The Athletic report that the Baggies have now decided to appoint Carlos Corberan as their new boss.
It’s stated that Corberan had two interviews with West Brom before the club decided that he is their man.
Corberan, 39, had managed Doxa Katokopias and Ermis Aradippou in Cyprus before joining Leeds United in 2017.
First brought in as Under-23 boss, Corberan ended up assisting Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road and earned a strong reputation there.
Leeds still think so highly of Corberan that he was one of three considered to replace Bielsa earlier this year according to The Telegraph, but the job went to Jesse Marsch.
Some still think that Corberan could end up as Leeds boss one day but he will now be testing himself at West Brom.
Corberan worked wonders at Huddersfield Town last season, taking them to the Championship playoff final against all odds.
The Spaniard chose to resign before the start of this season though and headed off to Greece with Olympiacos.
Corberan lasted just 11 games in charge of Olympiacos though, winning just two in a dismal spell.
West Brom clearly believe that Corberan can get back on track in the Championship though and are expected to appoint him imminently.
