West Bromwich Albion boss Darren Moore has wanted to get his side playing out from the back.

The additions of Scott McKenna and James Tavernier at West Bromwich Albion would make their defence far more suited to playing football under Darren Moore.
West Brom’s new manager has changed their style completely this season, with Albion now promoting a possession based approach.
West Brom attempt to build from the back, but their current defence has had some difficulties adjusting.
The Baggies have been caught on the ball in defence on numerous occasions, and they have been the architects of their own downfall regularly.

The likes of Kyle Bartley, Ahmed Hegazy and Craig Dawson have all struggled to adapt to West Brom’s new style.
But McKenna and Tavernier appear to be far more suited to Moore’s preferred style of play.
The Aberdeen Evening Express claim that McKenna is wanted by the Baggies, while the Daily Record suggest Tavernier is on West Brom’s wishlist.
McKenna is a centre-back who is more than comfortable with the ball at his feet, while Tavernier’s main strength lies in his ability to get forward.
And if West Brom could add the pair in January, then they could be a much bigger threat over the second half of the season.
