Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is said to value West Bromwich Albion target Stuart Armstrong at around £8 million.

West Bromwich Albion Tony Pulis has told the Birmingham Mail that he has not approached Celtic over a deal for Stuart Armstrong yet.
Pulis was asked about West Brom’s interest in Armstrong, and Welsh boss played it down.
However, crucially, he did not deny that West Brom would like to sign the midfielder – but he did claim that no approach had been made yet.

“We’ll be heavily linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry over the next couple of weeks,” Pulis said.
“We’ve not made an approach to Celtic.
“I’ve not rung Brendan up.
“I get on okay with Brendan. So if I was going to do anything I’d ring Brendan first.”
West Brom are believed to be chasing Armstrong, as Pulis looks to strengthen his options at the Hawthorns.

Celtic are said to value the midfielder at around £8 million (Daily Express), as he is a key part of Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Armstrong has developed into one of Celtic’s most dangerous attacking weapons, with his creativity catching the eye.
The former Dundee United man has scored 14 goals in 30 Scottish Premiership this season from his attacking midfield base.
Armstrong is understood to be happy to remain at Celtic, despite Premier League interest mounting.
