West Bromwich Albion boss Slaven Bilic’s comments to the Birmingham Mail look like good news for West Ham United loanee Grady Diangana.

West Ham have loaned Diangana to West Brom for the season, but the youngster is yet to start a Championship match.

Diangana is very much pushing for a place in Bilic’s side’s line-up though, after scoring twice from the bench against Luton Town last weekend.

The West Ham loanee also impressed for West Brom in the cup, when he featured against Millwall.

And Bilic’s suggestion that West Brom could make changes to their team tonight, ahead of the Baggies match against Reading, must be good news for Diangana.

“We are considering making a few changes for a few reasons,” Bilic said.

“The main reason is to be fair, I have a good squad, and some players – although we didn’t win the cup game, a lot of players played really good football there and we want to use them.”

If Bilic is thinking about making changes to his side, Diangana certainly looks the best placed player to break into West Brom’s team.

The Baggies have started the season well so far, taking seven points from three matches to date.
