Bakary Sako is training with Darren Moore’s West Bromwich Albion at the moment.

According to The Express & Star, West Brom are interested in signing Sako on a short-term deal as a free agent.
The 30-year-old former Wolverhampton Wanderers and Crystal Palace winger is currently training with the Baggies.
It has also been reported that West Brom are in talks with the representatives of the Mali international – who can also operate as an attacking midfielder – but there is a difference in wage issues between the two parties.
West Brom manager Moore has suggested that for Sako to earn a contract with the Championship club, he needs to get fitter.
Moore told The Express & Star: “Bakary’s fitness has got to a level. Obviously we’d like to see him get fitter and stronger but at the moment the position he is in is very good, we’re very happy. There’s still no news to give.”

Deal possible?
It is clear that Moore rates Sako, and that West Brom manager wants the former Wolves ace in his squad.
Having been without a club since the summer when he left Palace, it is understandable that the Mali international will lack match fitness, and it is up to him to prove to Moore that he can be an asset in West Brom’s quest to finish in the top two of the Championship this season.
