Leeds United have recently been linked, but Alan Pardew has confirmed West Bromwich Albion are also keen.

Leeds United could be denied the chance to sign Danny Ings in the January transfer window, due to Alan Pardew’s charm offensive.
He said: “I’d be foolish not to say I don’t like Danny Ings because I quite like him,” he said. “It’s a shame about his injury – he’s had to battle back and everyone wishes him well.”

Pardew’s comments simply cannot be good news for Leeds, as they have been eyeing up Ings for a long time.
The Sun have reported how Leeds have been eyeing up a move for Ings since way back in October.
However, with West Brom set to come in for the Liverpool forward, Thomas Christiansen’s side’s task to land 25-year-old could be a very difficult one.

West Brom can obviously offer Ings Premier League football, and that could be crucial in a World Cup year.
If Ings did arrive at Leeds it would have been a great signing for the Yorkshire side, and would certainly have boosted their promotion chances.
But it seems that Pardew’s recent appointment at West Brom may cost them any chance of landing the Liverpool man.
