According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 63, September 16, 2018), West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City are interested in Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack (click here to read more).

It has been reported by the British tabloid that West Brom and Leicester could make moves for Dack in the January transfer window, with the Baggies having had their £15 million for the 24-year-old midfielder in the summer turned down by Championship rivals Leicester.

Dack is one of the best midfielders in the Championship, and there is no surprise that West Brom and Leicester are reportedly keeping tabs on him.

However, the 24-year-old’s latest comments suggest that the Baggies and the Foxes may not find it easy to persuade the midfielder to leave Blackburn in the middle of the season.

The midfielder made his return from a knee injury against Aston Villa at Ewood Park in the Championship this past Saturday evening.

After the match, the former Gillingham star spoke highly of Rovers and manager Tony Mowbray for the support they have shown him.

The comments show how much Dack values Blackburn, and West Brom and Leicester may not find it easy to persuade the midfielder to leave Ewood Park in the January transfer window.

“Of course, the manager has been brilliant for me, there’s no denying that,” Dack told The Lancashire Telegraph. “In the whole group everyone’s been brilliant.

“I’ve got the full support of the club so I’m happy with that and I’ll just get my stuff done.

“On a personal note it’s nice to play 50 games for the club and I’ve chipped in with a few goals (in that time). That’s a good milestone for me and I’ve just got to build on that.”
