We reveal which West Bromwich Albion youngsters are rated the highest on Football Manager 17.
West Bromwich Albion’s academy has enjoying a growing reputation in recent years after producing high-profile players such as Saido Berahino and Isaiah Brown.
Let’s take a look at which members of Albion’s current crop have been given the highest rating by Football Manager 17.
Sam Field
Field has been a part of West Brom’s first-team squad for the entire 2016/7 campaign.
The 18-year-old looked assured when he was handed starts against Middlesbrough and Bournemouth earlier in the season. He has since been used as a substitute in four games, including a late cameo in the recent 3-1 win over Arsenal.
Field is rated highest out of Albion’s youngster on FM17 but he has a smaller ‘potential’ rating (how much a players attributes can grow during the game) than the other two youngsters listed below.
Jonathan Leko
The winger has a slightly lower current rating than Field on the game.
Leko made his Premier League debut last April when he came off the bench in an away game against Sunderland. The 17-year-old continues to be part of Tony Pulis’ first-team squad and has featured as a substitute on seven occasions this season.
Tyler Roberts
It is no surprise that the next highest rated youngster also made his first senior appearance last season.
Roberts replaced Leko in the 73rd minute against Liverpool on the final day of last season. He was then loaned to Oxford United in the summer before joining up with relegation-threatened Shrewsbury Town in January.
The forward has the potential to be better than Field on the game.
Meanwhile, 16-year-old Kane Wilson, who made his senior debut in the EFL cup against Northampton Town last year, is also highly rated on the latest Football Manager.
