The West Bromwich Albion striker would be a useful addition to the West Ham United squad.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has still not managed to bring in the world-class striker that he so desperately craves this summer, with West Ham fans being served up a serious case of deja vu following last year’s debacle in the summer transfer window.
There could be an opening for the Croatian, however, from an unexpected source – Tony Pulis.
That’s right, Tony Pulis. The Baggies boss will reportedly allow Salomon Rondon to leave the Hawthorns this summer, if he receives a decent offer for him, according to the Mirror.

The 27-year-old forward is an extremely hard worker, and is renowned for making tireless runs into the channels for the entirety of the 90 minutes.
He would be the ideal type of player to line up alongside Andy Carroll, with the Englishman most effective when in and around the 18-yard box.
Rondon is exceptionally strong, and it not short of pace, although he is not the most clinical of forwards, having scored just eight Premier League goals last term.
It is the Venezuelan’s overall contribution to the team, however, that is the most impressive aspect of his game, ad he would surely have a lot to offer at the London Stadium, if Bilic takes a punt on him.
The former Zenit St Petersburg hitman still has two years remaining on his current deal with the Baggies, and is on £70,000 per week, according to the Mirror.
With Pulis reportedly being so keen to sanction Rondon’s exit though, West Ham would surely have every chance of signing him this summer, if they decide to make a concrete move for him.
