West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on signing the Spanish hitman.

According to a report from the Birmingham Mail, West Brom are lining up a summer swoop for Numancia forward Guillermo Fernandez Hierro, and the Baggies’ reported interest in the striker serves as real evidence of their ambition this season.
West Brom were woefully inept last season, and eventually finished their campaign rock bottom of the Premier League table, although they did experience a brief renaissance during their last seven games under the stewardship of Darren Moore.

Following their impressive finish to the season, confidence is high at the Hawthorns that they can make an immediate return to the top flight, but they will have to bring in some real quality in order for that to be at all possible.

Moore will surely be prioritising the addition of a centre forward this summer, after his side’s impotence in front of goal last term. and the Birmingham Mail claims that Guillermo Fernandez Hierro features highly on their list of targets.
The 25-year-old joined Numancia from Elche in the summer fo 2017, and went on to really impress for the Spanish side, chipping in with 11 goals and four assists in 45 appearances in all competitions.

Guillermo possesses excellent technical ability, and he possesses the kind of talent that could see him go on to become a really top player.
According to the Birmingham Mail, the Numancia forward is valued at around £2 million, and that would represent fantastic value for West Brom in today’s ludicrously inflated transfer market.
