The West Bromwich Albion star would be a useful addition to the Newcastle United squad.

Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is desperate to add an established winger to his ranks at St James’ Park this summer, in an effort to add more potency to his side’s attacking play.
According to the Sun, the Spaniard is keen on signing Crystal Palace’s Andros Townsend in a potential £18 million deal this summer, but he would surely be better served in bringing West Brom’s Nacer Chadli into the club.

The Belgian ace is likely to be sold this summer, following the Baggies’ relegation down to the Championship, and his mercurial talent would surely see him endear himself to the Toon Army.
Every Love Island contestant if they were an England player – World Cup!
Chadli joined West Brom from Tottenham back in the summer of 2016, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £13 million, according to BBC Sport, but injuries have hampered his progress at the Hawthorns.
He still has plenty left to offer at the highest level, though, and he would be a cheaper option than Townsend for Newcastle, according to the Telegraph, who claim that he has a £17 million release clause inserted into his current contract with the Baggies.

The Belgium international is incredibly skilful, and his superb technique and intelligent play in the final third would add so much to the Toon’s attacking play.
Chadli does come with baggage, though, and he has hardly been a saint during his time in England, but Newcastle fans have always loved somewhat of a maverick character.
The 28-year-old would undoubtedly be a risk for the Magpies, but one that could pay off quite considerably.
