The lesser spotted Belgian left-back is Tweeting, but not playing, at the moment.
Last month the Metro ran a story with the headline “has anyone seen West Brom’s missing full-back Sebastien Pocognoli?”
It was a fairly good question.
The Belgian international was snapped up from German outfit Hannover 96 in the summer. The 27-year-old was a regular under Alan Irvine after his arrival at the club, in a deal the Express and Star reported was worth around £1.5 million.
He played in 17 games for West Brom this season but since the arrival of Tony Pulis he has become an outcast at the club.
He has not played for West Brom since the 7-0 win against Gateshead in the FA Cup on the 3rd January.
He was however on the bench for the recent 4-1 home defeat to QPR, but still couldn’t make the field of play despite his team’s abject performance.
He has however now surfaced on Twitter. He even sent out a thanks to all his fans who have followed him since joining this week.
But still, the defender remains missing in action, and it begs the question – will he play for West Brom again?
