If still in charge, West Ham boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do during the summer transfer window, if he is to guide his side to a successful campaign next season.

One particular area of concern for the Scot will be his central midfield department at the London Stadium, and the addition of a Premier League proven midfielder will surely feature highly on his wish-list.

With this in mind, the Hammers should consider a move for West Brom ace Jake Livermore, who has been in sensational form over this past month.

The Englishman moved to the Hawthorns from Hull City in January 2017, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £10 million, and he is now beginning to show why the Black Country outfit parted with such a substantial amount of cash to secure his services.

According to the Sun, Livermore could leave the Baggies for around £10 million if they are eventually relegated, with Aston Villa leading the race for his signature.

The 28-year-old has proven just how good he can be over this past month, and he could be a real asset for West Ham.

Livermore possesses a wonderful range of passing, and can dictate the tempo of the game from the middle of the park – something that the Hammers have sometimes lacked from their midfield options this season.

The seven capped England international would provide fantastic competition for Mark Noble in West Ham’s engine room, and his arrival at the London Stadium would surely help bring out the best in the 30-year-old Hammers skipper.

If Moyes does manage to bring Livermore to the London Stadium this summer, it could turn out to be a really shrewd piece of business from the Hammers.
