After submitting a transfer request at West Bromwich Albion should West Ham United make another move for Craig Dawson?

Craig Dawson is looking for a way out at West Bromwich Albion, with Sky Sports reporting that the defender has submitted a transfer request.
Dawson does not want to stay at the Hawthorns following the Baggies’ relegation to the Championship and recently refused to fly out to the club’s pre-season training camp in Portugal.

Darren Moore wants to keep hold of the 28-year-old as the manager looks to retain the core of his squad, but that is looking like an increasingly difficult task after this latest development.
What next?
Both Burnley and West Ham United have had bids for Dawson rejected this summer, but perhaps the latter should return now the centre-back is actively seeking a departure from West Brom.

Despite having already signed Issa Diop from Toulouse in a club record £22m (BBC) deal, the Hammers are still reportedly in the market for recruitment at the back with Italian publication Corriere dello Sport linking them with a move for Sassuolo’s Gian Marco Ferrari.
While Dawson is two years older than Ferrari, the Englishman has plenty of Premier League experience and also the versatility to play at right-back or centrally.
