Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen on signing the West Bromwich Albion defender.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is expected to be busy during this summer’s transfer window, with the Portuguese keen on bolstering his options at Molineux upon their return to the Premier League.
One player in particular who is attracting interest from the Black Country outfit is West Brom’s Craig Dawson, according to the Mirror, and the 27-year-old would be a really smart acquisition for the Championship winners.

Dawson has been a wonderfully consistent servant to the Baggies since joining the club from Rochdale in the summer of 2010.
He is an incredibly versatile defender, and is equally competent at playing either at right-back or centre-back.
Dawson’s extensive experience of playing in the top flight would be invaluable to Wolves next season, and his leadership qualities would see him fit right into Nuno’s side.

Defence is certainly an area where Wolves will want to strengthen, due to the fact that they will be tested far more next term in the Premier League than they were this season in the Championship.
The 27-year-old is valued at £5.3 million, according to Transfer Market, and if Nuno does in fact manage to bring him to Molineux for somewhere in that region, it could prove to be a real coup for Wolves.
