With this in mind, Wolves should make an attempt to poach West Brom’s Craig Dawson, who could be available for around £15 million this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
The 28-year-old has been a fantastic servant for the Baggies, since moving to the Hawthorns from Rochdale in the summer of 2010, going on to make 180 appearances.
He can operate as either a right-back or a centre-back – two positions where Wolves are looking to strengthen, and his experience of playing in the top flight for such a prolonged period could prove to be vital to Nuno’s side.
Dawson is a solid defender. He is strong in the air, quick along the ground and plays with a certain kind of tenacity that Nuno would absolutely love.
In today’s day and age, £15 million for a player of Dawson’s calibre represents fantastic value, and Nuno should not hesitate to bring him to Molineux this summer. It could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Wolves.
