The West Bromwich Albion ‘keeper is finally living up to his potential.

Ben Foster has had to live with the hype surrounding his natural talent for many years, but as with so many players tipped to be the next big thing his career has had more downs than ups.
That said the West Bromwich Albion stopper deserves all the credit he gets for his latest showing, keeping a rampant Tottenham Hotspur side at bay on Saturday and earning the man-of-the-match award as a result.

The simple fact is Foster is a class act and one who should be praised more readily by neutrals and pundits alike.
West Brom have one of the best goalkeepers in the country but too often his contributions are left in the shade by his more famous counterparts.

Baggies fans know just how good he is and if he can maintain his recent form for the rest of the campaign he could finally earn the wider praise he deserves.
Now 33, Foster could be reaching his peak and West Brom will be hoping he goes from strength to strength in the coming campaigns.
Foster is not the average ‘keeper some would have you believe; but the time has come for him to prove he is the star he once looked destined to become.
