West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Harry Wilson from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport.

What’s the story?

Benfica, West Brom and Brentford are reportedly interested in Wilson.

Portuguese giants Benfica have actually made an official approach for Wilson, but their offer is below Liverpool’s valuation.

The former Premier League champions are now expecting Benfica to make a second move.

Could Harry Wilson help West Brom?

West Brom will play in the Championship next season after getting relegated from the Premier League.

The Baggies will be determined to bounce straight back into the top flight.

Wilson knows the second tier inside out and has been a success in the division.

The winger spent last season on loan at Cardiff City and played well for the Welsh club in the Championship.

The 24-year-old scored seven goals and gave 11 assists in the league.

Wilson can play as a forward as well as an attacking midfielder.

The Wales international would make West Brom better and more creative in attack.

Wilson’s ability to score from free kicks and in open play will enhance the Baggies’ chances of finishing in the Championship top two.
