Here is how we anticipate West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool to line-up ahead of their Premier League meeting this weekend.

Odds: West Brom 16/5, Draw 27/10, Liverpool 17/20

West Bromwich Albion welcome Liverpool to The Hawthorns for an Easter Sunday Premier League encounter – with both sides expected to make changes to their line-ups.

Despite an encouraging league positioning of 8th, hosts West Brom will hope to arrest a three game winless run; with boss Tony Pulis potentially making a trio of changes to his starting XI for the visit of Jurgen Klopp’s third placed Liverpool.

Further, West Brom have only secured four points from the last 18 available and have not scored a league goal since their 3-1 victory over Arsenal in mid-March.

Consequently, perhaps the most noticeable of alterations to the Baggies line-up would be affording a starting berth to Wales international forward Hal Robson-Kanu, with the misfiring Solomon Rondon at risk of losing his spot. The Venezuelan international is currently without a league goal in 2017 and has gone 16 games without scoring in the top-flight.

Two further changes, in the aftermath of the 1-0 loss to Southampton last time out, could see Pulis opt to recall the left sided duo of Chris Brunt and James McClean – at the expense of Allan Nyom and Matt Phillips.

However, whilst recent form may not be a source of encouragement for West Brom fans, it could be worth noting that Pulis has not experienced a single home defeat to Liverpool in any of his eight league encounters with the Reds – encompassing the Welshman’s spells in charge at Stoke City and Crystal Palace.

Meanwhile, opponents Liverpool travel to the Midlands on the back of a hard-fought victory over one of Pulis’ previous employers, Stoke – where a late Roberto Firmino strike handed Klopp’s side all three points and simultaneously provided their first away win of 2017.

Klopp is likely to persevere with a three-man Liverpool defensive line for the trip to the Hawthorns, but is fully expected to give Firmino and fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho starting places, in preference to the talented rookies Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ben Woodburn.

Liverpool remain unable to call upon key contributors Adam Lallana and Sadio Mane due to injury – but should have Daniel Sturridge available again following the goal-getter’s promising substitute appearance against Stoke.
