West Bromwich Albion have exceed expectations so far this season.
Baggies midfielder Darren Fletcher has hailed the impact of Chris Brunt and James Morrison following the pair’s return from injury, explaining how they are like ‘new signings’, as quoted by the Express & Star.
Both Brunt, 31, and Morrison, 30, returned to Tony Pulis’ starting XI four games ago, and have helped their club take 10 points from those outings.

West Brom now sit in seventh position in the Premier League table, which is quite incredible, after the heavy criticism received by the Baggies boss for what many of their fans believed was a failed summer transfer window.
But Fletcher, who has played every single Premier League game for West Brom so far this season, highlighted the positive influence that both Brunt and Morrison have had on the side since their return to the starting line-up, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“It’s been a combination of everything really but I think getting Mozza and Brunty back is almost like two new signings.”
Brunt’s contract at the Hawthorns is actually set to expire in the summer, and if he continues his fine run of form, there will surely be a new contract offer on the table in the foreseeable future of the Northern Irishman.
Morrison’s contract with West Brom still has 18-months left to run, so his future will not have to be as highly prioritised as that of Brunt’s.
