West Bromwich Albion put four past their opponents in the Premier League 2 last night.

West Bromwich Albion Under-23s ran out emphatic 4-2 winners in their Premier League 2 meeting at Norwich U23s last night and the Baggies Twitter channel proudly showed off Rayhaan Tulloch’s goal following great work from Finn Azaz and Jamie Soule.

The Baggies took the lead in the league game after the half-hour mark when Chris Willock’s effort was parried by Canaries keeper Archie Mair into the path of Nick Clayton-Phillips, who slotted home on the rebound.

Willock and Clayton-Phillips combined once again for the latter to claim his second of the night, and the game was seemingly killed off when Azaz delivered a cross-field ball forward for Soule to run onto, before the ball was squared into the path of Tulloch, who side-footed in a neat strike to score.

Although Gassan Ahadme and Patrick Roberts then scored to give the Canaries a lifeline, a late Stanley Asomugha strike secured the spoils for the Baggies.

Here is Tulloch’s goal, plus some fan reaction:

The result put the Baggies fifth in the Premier League 2 second division table while the first team will hope to remain top of the Championship as they face Middlesbrough this afternoon.
