Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Stuart Armstrong from Celtic. West Bromwich Albion should join the race as well.

Should West Brom join the race as well? The Baggies were reportedly interested in signing Armstrong in the summer, but the Hoops had no intention of selling their key player.

Armstrong was one of the key players in Brendan Rodgers’ treble winning campaign where he scored 15 goals in the Scottish Premiership.
However, this season he has struggled to replicate his best form. The Scotland international has just scored two goals in the league this season and has performed well below par to the expected level.

West Brom are in a terrible situation at the moment, having failed to win their last 20 Premier League games. They find themselves second bottom in the league table, and Alan Pardew must bring in new players to lift the squad.
Armstrong is a good player and he may go on to shine at the Hawthorns and rediscover the form he showed last season. Given his current form and the depth in Brendan Rodgers’ squad, an offer in the region of £10 million should appeal to Celtic. He would be a good addition to the Baggies squad.
