Everton have been reportedly linked with a move for Emre Mor. West Brom should join the race too.
Despite being one of the most sought-after talents in world football just 12 months ago, Turkish starlet Emre Mor looks set to be on the move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The 20-year-old highly rated winger joined BVB Dortmund from Norwegian club Nordsjælland last summer, but after starting in only five Bundesliga games last season, the German club have decided to let him go despite his undoubted potential.
According to The Sun, he would cost around £12 million, and has been linked with a move to Everton and Huddersfield.
His agent has confirmed that they have held talks with both Everton and Huddersfield, while two Bundesliga clubs have also shown interest.
West Brom should make a move for Mor
Although signing a defender seems Tony Pulis’ first priority at the moment, he should also consider signing an attacking midfielder, should Nacer Chadli leave the club.
The 20-year-old attacking right midfielder is known for his excellent dribbling skills, an eye for key passes, and ability to produce fantastic crosses from the flanks.
Undoubtedly, a player of Mor’s ability will add strength and depth to the West Brom squad. And the price quoted for him represents significant value for money considering his potential and age.
Mor could be tempted by the prospect of playing in the Premier League, and West Brom certainly can provide him regular football.
Also, signing him from the grasp of the high-spending Everton would also represent a statement of intent from the club. He would be an excellent capture for the Baggies.
