The Liverpool player could be perfect for West Bromwich Albion.

With Liverpool centre-back Martin Skrtel looking increasingly likely to leave Anfield this summer, and with West Bromwich Albion in need of a new defender, Baggies manager Tony Pulis would be wise to make a move for the 31-year-old before it is too late.
West Brom have been linked with a number of central defenders already this summer, with the Daily Mail claiming former Liverpool loanee Steven Caulker is high on the wish list at The Hawthorns.
The QPR player has seen limited game-time recently but he could rediscover his best form at West Brom.

That said, there is an alternative, and bringing in the experienced Skrtel could be exactly what the Baggies need as they look to push on next season.
The Slovakian international has 320 Liverpool appearances under his belt and a point to prove after falling down the pecking order at Anfield under new manager Jurgen Klopp. And with a few years left at the top of his game Skrtel could make a significant impact under Pulis – a man who appreciates a no-nonsense defender.

With little chance of playing under Klopp next season Skrtel could also be available for a knock-down price, and if he wishes to remain in the Premier League West Brom should look to compete with Middlesbrough for his signature, with the newly-promoted side interested according to the Daily Star.
