The West Bromwich Albion midfielder could leave the club in January.
West Bromwich Albion have some difficult decisions to make in the January transfer window, with manager Alan Pardew seeking to ensure that his squad is prepared for their battle to avoid relegation in the second half of the season.
In addition to bringing players in, Pardew must also consider which players should move on, and one individual who could depart is Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The midfielder is on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain but has been underwhelming so far and the deal could be cut short in January to enable him to move elsewhere, as reported by The Birmingham Mail.
There was a considerable amount of excitement when Krychowiak arrived at West Brom but he has been unable to match expectations and has struggled to adapt to the pace and intensity of the Premier League.
As they look to avoid the drop, West Brom require players that are capable of performing consistently, and Krychowiak doesn’t fall into that category, with the likes of Gareth Barry and Jake Livermore more dependable.
Letting Krychowiak leave would be a positive as it would free up a space in the squad, which would enable West Brom to bring in another player in January.
