Salomon Rondon has struggled and, while Jay Rodriguez and Hal Robson-Kanu offer a lot in terms of energy and commitment, they haven’t been prolific in front of goal.
One player who has been tipped to fill the attacking void for West Brom is Watford’s Troy Deeney, with The Hawthorns his most likely destination at odds of 4/7, according to The Birmingham Mail.
Deeney, however, wouldn’t help to solve West Brom’s problems if he was to join the club.
The striker has scored just twice in 13 Premier League appearances so far this season and West Brom are in need of a more reliable, consistent goalscorer.
Deeney is strong physically and may relish the prospect of testing himself at a different club, but West Brom should look elsewhere as they attempt to solve their striking problem.
