West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino and Stoke City’s Bojan are the league’s best passing forwards.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has had a terrific start to the season in front of goal, and he is standing out in another area too.

The England under-21 international tops the Premier League jointly in terms of passing accuracy for strikers.

Only players who have featured for more than 180 minutes of football this season feature, with Stoke City’s Bojan also at the top of the list, completing 89 per cent of his overall passes.

The key difference between the strikers is Berahino netting five goals, nearly all of West Brom’s eight, while Bojan has yet to score for Stoke.

The 21-year-old Baggie could be considered unfortunate not to make the senior England squad this time around, but if he can keep up his excellent form, in front of goal and around the pitch, then it surely will not be long until he does earn a full cap.
