West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison is reportedly on the radar of Tony Pulis’s Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that West Brom, who were relegated from the Premier League this past season, are deciding whether or not to trigger an option of a further year on Morrison’s current contract at the Baggies.

The 31-year-old is out of contract at The Hawthorns this summer, with his former club Middlesbrough interested in securing his services, according to The Northern Echo.
New contract for James Morrison?
Morrison had an injury-ravaged campaign this past season and was able to play just 206 minutes of Premier League football.

The Scotland international, though, is a very good midfielder who would be an asset for the Baggies in the Championship.
Handing the 31-year-old, who earns £40,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, a new contract would be smart of West Brom, although the prospect of playing under his former Baggies’ manager Tony Pulis at Middlesbrough could be tempting.
