West Bromwich Albion may be looking to throw caution to the wind when they take on Chelsea on Monday night.

West Brom will be hoping to get back to winning ways when they return to Premier League action on Monday night, but it will certainly not be easy for Alan Pardew’s side.
The Baggies are now four points adrift of the closest side in the top flight and go into their next game off the back of a 3-2 home defeat against Southampton, who had also gone into the weekend in the relegation zone.

They will also be facing a Chelsea side that will be desperate to get their own season back on track after being dismantled 4-1 by Watford on Monday night. But the Blues’ vulnerability should perhaps tempt Pardew to throw caution to the wind with his team selection.
Few will be expecting the Baggies to get anything from the game at Stamford Bridge, so picking an attacking lineup that may perhaps surprise Chelsea in a similar way to how the Hornets did earlier this week may be a smart idea.

Therefore, perhaps Daniel Sturridge will start against his former club as part of a front three which includes Salomon Rondon and Jay Rodriguez.
There may be a boost in midfield with Grzegorz Krychowiak returning. The Poland international has looked a lot more impressive since Pardew arrived last year, and his return may hand the side a boost after the midfield proved disappointing against the Saints.
Meanwhile, Gareth McAuley drops out after a poor showing at the weekend, with a back four of Allan Nyom, Craig Dawson, Ahmed Hegazi and Kieran Gibbs starting.
With that in mind, here is a look at the predicted lineup in full…
