West Brom return to Premier League action on Monday where they will be looking to get over the disappointment of their narrow Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City earlier this week.
Tony Pulis’ men put up a spirited fight against City, losing 2-1 against a team that had scored 11 times in their previous two Premier League games, and Pulis will be hoping that the Baggies put up a similarly brave fight when they travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal.
The biggest selection boost for West Brom involves Jake Livermore, who should be back for the contest after being rested for the previous two games.
Meanwhile, Hal Robson-Kanu’s two glaring misses against the Citizens may tempt Pulis to make a change up front, with Salomon Rondon’s physicality potentially seeing him get another chance to lead the line.
However, Jay Rodriguez is West Brom’s leading goalscorer so far with two goals this season, so it may not be a surprise if the former Southampton man features in some way.
While Gareth McAuley made his return to the side in midweek, Pulis may perhaps be tempted to bring Craig Dawson back into the fold alongside Jonny Evans, with Allan Nyom playing at right-back and Kieran Gibbs lining up on the left, against his former club.
