West Bromwich Albion owner Guochuan Lai is expected to make some changes to the board of directors at the club.

There has been a sense of intrigue surrounding The Hawthorns ever since they were taken over by a new owner. Supporters were wondering what kind of changes they could expect at the club, with some believing that they would go down the same route as their greatest rivals Wolves in terms of bringing in a whole host of new players.
That was not the case, as the only big deal to speak of was the signing of Tottenham’s Nacer Chadli. As reported by the Birmingham Mail, new owner Guochuan Lai is expected to make some changes to the board of directors.
Following the confirmation of his £175 million takeover last month, Lai has taken in two West Bromwich Albion games with the latest coming over the weekend.

He has supposedly suggested plans to alter the executive tier at the club, but the positions of Chief Executive Mark Jenkins, director of football administration Richard Garlick and technical director Nick Hammond are all expected to be safe.
It is believed that he does not want to drastically change the way the Midlands side is ran, however he simply wants more representation of the new ownership as a whole which makes sense.
Many supporters will not see this as huge news, but it seems like it is the first of many small changes that could come to fruition over the next few months.
