Ben Foster (England)

Foster has been capped eight times for the English national team and was part of Roy Hodgson’s 2014 World Cup squad.

Igor Balis (Slovakia)

Balis made his international debut in 1995 for Slovakia in their one-nil win over Azerbaijan. The right-back went on to make over 40 appearances for his country.

Darren Moore (Jamaica)

‘Big Dave’ played three times for Jamaica before he joined West Bromwich Albion in 2001 and became a fan favourite.

Jonas Olsson (Sweden)

Olsson’s performances in an Albion shirt earnt him a call-up to Erik Hamren’s Swedish national side in 2010. His debut came in the one-nil friendly win over Belarus.

Larus Sigurdsson (Iceland)

The Icelandic left-back made his senior international debut in the same year as Balis. Sigurdsson would go on to win 42 caps for his nation.

Zoltan Gera (Hungary)

At this summer’s European Championships, 37-year-old Gera reminded everyone that class is permanent with his performances for Hungary. Gera is now closing in on a century of games for his nation.

Jason Koumas (Wales)

Koumas had undoubted talent and was handed his Wales debut at the age of 21. The skillful midfielder went on to play 30 times and scored 10 goals during that time.

Youssouf Mulumbu (DR Congo)

Mulumbu represented France at youth level but decided to represent DR Congo at the senior level. Mulumbu has been capped 36 times and scored once.

Chris Brunt (Northern Ireland)

Brunt has been an integral part of the Northern Ireland side for the last twelve years. Unfortunately, Brunt missed this summer’s European Championship due to a cruciate ligament injury.

Romelu Lukaku (Belgium)

Lukaku spent just the year on-loan at the Hawthorns but he left a lasting impression. The powerful forward was only 16-years-old when Dick Advocaat started him in his first international game against Croatia.

Salomon Rondon (Venezuela)

Like Lukaku, Rondon was brought into the national side at a young age, making his debut at the age of 18 against Haiti. Rondon is now a regular in the national side and has played over 50 times for La Vinotinto.
