The Baggies boss has been linked with an exit from West Brom.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis
West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis’ future at The Hawthorns has been in doubt recently, with reports suggesting he could be about to step down at the Baggies.
It was reported earlier this week that the West Brom boss was unhappy with the club’s transfer dealings this summer and was looking into stepping down. The BBC, among others, soon reported that the Baggies boss would not be resigning.

Now one of his first-team coaches has been asked about the speculation.
When appearing on Sky Sports News HQ this morning (07/09/16) Gerry Francis was asked about Pulis’ future and the transfer frustrations at West Brom.
He had little to say on Pulis but admitted the club’s transfer business was not what they hoped it would be:
“Speculation is speculation. I think if there is anything regarding Tony then you need to speak to Tony.
“From my point of view we have obviously just been getting on with the job of preparing for the season and starting the season.
“We’ve had a late takeover. We managed to get a through people in late in the transfer market, which was important. There were a couple of others that didn’t go through which is quite disappointing but that happens.
“It’s really now about knuckling down and getting on with the Premier League season.”
Nacer Chadli
West Brom have signed just four players this summer, with Matt Phillips, Nacer Chadli, Allan Nyom and Hal Robson-Kanu all arriving – whilst Brendan Galloway has also joined on loan from Everton.
News of Pulis’ apparent unhappiness has even seen former England boss Roy Hodgson linked with a return to the Hawthorns in the Mirror this week.
Pulis is undoubtedly not pleased with the transfer dealings with the club this summer but for the time being it appears he and Francis are just looking to focus on the football with the Baggies.
