The Baggies boyhood fan and West Brom academy star was immense for Slaven Bilic and co yesterday.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have been commenting on Twitter about their performance in Saturday’s 2-0 triumph at Queens Park Rangers and much praise was reserved for the Baggies’ prodigious youngster Nathan Ferguson.
The 18-year-old boyhood West Brom fan put in an impressive display at left-back and scored his maiden goal for The Hawthorns side early in the second half, beating Joe Lumley at his near post with a long-range effort after marauding forward from his own half.
After Yoann Barbet was shown a straight red card for his last-man foul on Hal Robson-Kanu, Matheus Pereira’s free kick helped send Slaven Bilic’s side top of the Championship table – where they remain following Leeds United’s defeat – and kept intact their unbeaten start to the season.
It was a day to remember for Ferguson on a personal level but plenty of Albion fans were equally pleased with his superb performance on the day, not to mention the prospect of how far he could go in the game given his sheer talent and application.
Here is what some West Brom fans said on social media regarding the talented youngster’s display at QPR:
Ferguson was a regular for West Brom’s Under-23s throughout the 2018-19 season after spending pre-season with the first-team, while this term he has played eight appearances for the Baggies, all in the Championship (Transfermarkt).
