West Bromwich Albion named a strong XI last night and The Hawthorns side won thanks to Kenneth Zohore’s brace.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Kenneth Zohore’s goalscoring performance in the Baggies Under-23s’ 2-0 win in the Premier League 2 on Monday night.
The 25-year-old has been working his way back to fitness following a calf injury and, with West Brom’s next Championship game not until next Monday, was one of several first-team players named in a strong U23s line-up.
Rekeem Harper, Chris Willock, Chris Brunt and Kyle Edwards were also named in the XI by Albion Under-23 caretaker manager Deon Burton, and the Baggies went on to claim a solid win against Swansea thanks to Zohore’s second-half brace.
Indeed, the Denmark international had the ball in the back of the net four times during the game, but on two of these occasions he was flagged for offside – both tap-ins after respective deliveries from Harper and Chris Willock.
Nonetheless, he and his fellow first-teamers – Ahmed Hegazi came on as a substitute later on – got through the game unscathed, while the youngsters put in an impressive display against the Swans.
Here is some of the social media reaction to the game, in particular to Zohore’s display:
Zohore has made nine appearances for Slaven Bilic’s side since his summer move, scoring two goals (Transfermarkt).
