West Bromwich Albion remain top of the Championship table as the Baggies ace helped Slaven Bilic’s side bring three points back to The Hawthorns.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Baggies’ Championship win over Hull and Jake Livermore’s display earned widespread praise from the Hawthorns faithful.
Slaven Bilic took West Brom to Hull and Livermore, playing against his former club, put the Baggies in front with a superb effort from the edge of the area after a short-corner routine in the 28th minute.
Aside from the goal, the 29-year-old put in an overall great display, with great defensive nous and endless energy, always being in the right place at the right time – arguably the only negative point was the booking which will see him miss the next game.
Nonetheless, plenty of West Brom fans were blown by away by just how much Livermore has improved, and made their feelings known on social media:
West Brom are unbeaten in six matches, sit two points clear at the top of the Championship table, and host Sheffield Wednesday after the international break.
